I failed NCLEX TODAY and I have a question!!!

Published

Today I took PN Nclex I did the PVT trick and I was sent to the credit card page.... I was so shocked and not using my brain.. I paid for the test again so now I'm scared I will loose my money because of this email

Registration Time Limit

Your NCLEX examination registration will remain open for a 365-day time period during which a board of nursing may determine your eligibility. The time period begins when the board of nursing receives your registration from the test service. Once you are made eligible, you will receive your Authorization to Test (ATT). The 365-day time period will end at this point and you must take your examination within the validity dates printed on your ATT.

If the board of nursing is unable to make you eligible within the 365-day time period, you must wait until your current registration expires before re-registering. A candidate may not have two NCLEX examination registrations (of the same type) open at the same time. If you re-register before your current registration expires, your second registration will be processed and denied, and the fee collected will not be refunded.

So has anyone reapplied the same day of failing and were allowed to test?

There is either a 45 or 90 day waiting period. Another person posted about paying out of turn a long time ago, but frankly I can't remember the outcome. I would give them a call early Monday morning and say that you made a mistake. They will advise you.

I got the same message... but everything turned out ok. I just resubmitted with my state board of nursing and received my ATT and rescheduled for 45 days after I had taken it :)

You need to reapply to your BON and wait for a new eligibility, it may take a month before you get your eligibility. Once you received your eligibility you can reschedule your test at pearson vue. You can't reschedule your test using the same ATT.

I did the same exact thing and I am also very worried about loosing my money. Can you please reply and let us know what ended up happening in this situation?
