I failed NCLEX RN 2 times, passed on my third time!

This is for all students who are struggling to pass the NCLEX like I was. Do not feel alone because there are MANY RNs that struggled to pass that exam! I will start off by giving you some of my background.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University. I graduated May 2015 and took the NCLEX the 1st time on July 1, 2015. I did not study much at all the first time around and failed with 86 questions. Then, I decided to study more doing at least 30 questions a day for 2 whole months. I took the NCLEX the 2nd time on September 3, 2015. I failed with 75 questions. I was devastated after failing the second time because I had put so much effort into studying than the first time. So I knew I needed to change my study habits after that.

I started off by reviewing the content videos on Kaplan, as well as using the Kaplan Content Book to help guide the videos. I found that this really helped refresh my mind about content that I had forgot over the years of nursing school. Once I finished all the videos, I took a Kaplan NCLEX review course online. This helped build my confidence that I CAN pass! Also during this time, I began working with my tutor, Susan from Wyzant Online Tutoring. I worked with her at least 1-2x per week. I also did at least 75-100 questions every day for three months before signing up for the exam again. I took the NCLEX again for the 3rd time on December 30, 2015 and PASSED WITH 88 QUESTIONS!!!!

I mostly used Kaplan. I did all the Qbanks, Question Trainers, Sample questions and content videos that Kaplan offered. I also paid $30 for the NCLEX RN Mastery app. All these helped me pass my exam! I don't think I would've been as successful the 3rd time if it wasn't for Susan to guide my way.

YOU can PASS THE NCLEX!!! Do NOT give up! You made it through 2-4 years of nursing school.... you can pass this stupid exam! DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR PASSION!!!!
