Sadly I failed the NCLEX in 265 questions. I have no idea where to go from here. I did Kaplan review before this test. I did over 2,000 questions. Had an average Qbank score of 70%, my readiness score converted to me having a 99% chance of packing the NCLEX. I know my anxiety got the worst of me! I had couldn't sleep at all the night before. Once I reached 75 questions I began to panic. Then once I got to 150 questions, I remembered all the people who failed at that point. I psyched myself out. Then I got the dreaded 265, and I remember all the people who said the last question was the most important. It either made you pass or fail.It was a SATA question, and I panicked. I left crying, I knew it was awful. I had a job lined up, that i have to call them today and let them know I failed. I feel embarrassed.
If anyone could give me some hints or tips. I need a place to turn. I'm lost. I was so excited to be a nurse and start working. I miss clinicals so much! I already cried myself a river. Please help, I'm lost.

Have you received your candidate performance report from NCSBN? This can help explain how to read it, and it will guide you determining what areas were your strengths and what areas were your weaknesses. That can help you determine how best to develop a study plan.
However, if it is truly anxiety that is causing issue with the test, then you may want to look into test anxiety tips. A Google search with test anxiety strategies NCLEX will bring up a wealth of results, and you can look through to see what would work best for you.

Did you get your results yet or are you just assuming you failed? Most people who pass feel like they failed when they walk out after the NCLEX (or that's what I hear anyway...)
