Well, I will start classes on may the 5th an we are able to choose the color of our scrubs, while we are taking the gen ed classes, such as AP math micro phsyco....
well i was going to order online even though the price was nice (i have no idea about scrub prices) they were charging 20 dollares with shiping incluided for a set of navy scrubs...
but i dont know, what size really, my pants are 36 and my shirts are medium, so i did not buy it, i think i better check a real store!
any advice on scrubs out there?
and also i have classes 3 times a week so i think 3 sets are ok right?

I'd try them on in a store first; that way you have an idea of how they fit.
Are you wearing them to classes? Three pair should be fine for that. I have a lot more (of course I am a girl and work in peds, so there's a lot of fun stuff out there ). But, a general rule is to have a week's worth plus an extra pair in case you don't get the laundry done. OK, maybe that's not a general rule, but it should be .
Have fun; I remember how excited I was to get my first pair of scrubs :D.
i want navy blue!
I couldn't quite see you in Strawberry Shortcake .

I went with Cherokee Workwear scrubs when I was in my CNA class. They have a good selection and are pretty comfy. It's a good idea to try a few on if you have the time just to see what fits you best. We wore them to class, which was 4 days a week, so I got 5 pairs so that I could keep an extra one handy in case I needed it. Good luck with your classes, I know how exciting it must be!! :nuke:

I bet you are excited to get those scrubs!!! I know I am! Unfortunately, we do not get to pick...we have to wear red scrub pants and a white scrub top with our school's logo "patch" on the sleeve...and they order them! O well, at least we still get to wear scrubs...and the pants aren't white! haha!

While doing clinicals, do you have to wear a certain color of scrubs? I know that my school only allows white. Also, I am hearing that a lot of hospitals are going to solid white to make nurses look more professional. I would find out about these things before you go on a scrub shopping spree. It will save you a lot of money in the end.
By the way, allheart.com is a great place to order scrubs. I recommend the Dickies brand. Also, get the pants with the elastic band around the top and with the cargo pockets. You'll thank me later.

Oh Boy! How does one do Anatomy and Physiology in a month? Is that possible? Those classes are pretty detailed, at least the ones I took. Micro is in a class by itself. very interesting, challenging class you should enjoy it :)

since you live in orlando a great store would be uniform city right off of colonial...they always have navy blue and a great selection.
if you register to get their catalog at times they send coupons such as 10% or $5 bucks off and such--pretty decent deals. they also have a website but since you live in orlando i would definitely try them on at the store first.
here is the link: http://www.uniformcity.com/
