I accepted job offer!!!

I am so excited! I will be transferring to the physician group in the hospital system I work in, which is a plus because I won't lose seniority,etc. This may sound weird, but a big thing with me was being able to work 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs. They said that was fine!!!

Anyway, pay is OK, will be fully vested in their pension, which is good as I am 55. So pension and time is a big deal for me. Also no non compete.

So excited, now have to pass final exam next week, and boards!

Congrats!!! Jealous of your schedule:) I may be prying, but what did they offer you? What is your specialty? You hear such different things about salary....

Hi, thank you. In the offer they quoted n hourly rate which is $39.55 even tho I am salary. This works out to $65,811.20. CME $2000, 4 weeks vacation, no non-compete (which other offer had). Annual year end bonus of $1000. Since I am older, pension and schedule mattered a lot to me. I am 55. I am already in the same system as this group, so will already be vested in their pension. They have 4% match. The position is geriatric not really home care, but seeing low income seniors in their homes. I am thrilled.
