I had my interview today for grad school & was asked about 8 really looooong, lengthy questions....but I managed to come up with pretty good reponses to them! (thanks to practicing last night with my husband:) Anyhow, at the end of it I was told I am accepted and will start classes this August!!!! :) I'm going to be an NP!!!! Woo-hoooo!!!!! :)

Congrats...I'm heading into the final stretch of my APN and absolutely love it. I'm sure you will also.
Hey, I have a question for everyone: my classes don't begin until August but I can take one elective course in May/June. I was hoping to take Patho but it's actually not being offered then. I would need to take one elective class anyhow for my program, so I could take it by itself in May and enjoy it more on its own. My dilemma is this: the 2 offered electives are Advanced Practice Oncology Nursing or Contemporary Issues in Women's Health. I think they both sound interesting (I read the course descriptions) and they could both be relevant to an adult acute/critical care NP program. Which one should I take? I really want to take my elective this Spring but really don't know which to pick! Help!
Hey! I'll know which schools are accepting me in a couple of weeks...
As far as which class I would take...I's take the Women's Health class...but remember I am going for Midwifery/Women's Health...so I am obviously biased!!!!!!! LOL
