2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

My documents are still there at the bottom though, ugh not nerve racking or anything lol

My status changed to “in final review” on Wednesday, credit check was done on Friday. Now today it is back to “under review” with my confirmation of interest forms still showing at the bottom. ???

At this point I don’t know what to think. I submitted my application May 21st still under review. Currently in ABSN RN program

GPA 3.2 ECF 0 keeping my hopes up. I literally don’t have anyone to co-sign me for a student loan, I don’t have my parents anymore and I do everything on my own. I could not go back and start clinicals this semester due to a gap in funding. I am praying for a miracle. I really need It!!! I am too close to give up!

I don’t think they know how the wait is stressful.

Yeah me too we’re in the same boat I submitted mine and still no changes yet- still under review. God knows how much I need this a scholarship. I just keep praying not sure what to do anymore. Only God knows how I’m going to do it. I believe He started this process and He will help me get through it. ???

Hi, I haven't commented on this thread yet. I am also waiting, and it is so nerve-racking on top of all the stress with school. I want to wish us all luck and I pray we all get it. I have also been praying to God to help me get this, if it's His will.

Mine was signed by Jamie King at 11:39 am today. God I’m praying this means I get the scholarship. Praying for everyone here
