2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you ! I hope you win as well. I'm maxed out on loans and already got money from FAFSA but there's still an unworkable balance due. I'm a military spouse and my husband is away at the moment. Things are already so stressful, I seriously need this to come through. Ughhh it's so frustrating I want to cry! We will all have our answers soon though.

Wishing everyone here lots of luck! ?

I’m praying for you ♥️

Wait if your spouse is in the military can't you get a GI Bill?

Hello everyone! Has anyone whom has applied and gotten a finalist email in an MSN or direct entry masters program?

@prenursing23456 and @Briaunak congratulations! Was it for Nurse Corps or NHSC? And if you do not mind sharing what was your EFC and stats? ?

Unfortunately he used up his GI bill when he went back to school a couple of years ago.

Just a FYI: ?

Please excuse the inconvenience, but the site will be down for scheduled maintenance from 08:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM EDT on Saturday August 17, 2019.

This looks promising ! Does anyone know if this notice on their site has usually preceded a round of finalist emails being sent out ?
