HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment 2022

Hi everyone. Just starting this since I didn't see a thread for this application cycle. I received the NCLRP in 2009 and this is the 3rd time applying in the last 5 years.

So far I have only seen SUD NP applicants who have received finalist notifications.

I'm still showing under review. NP, regular NHSC LRP applicant.

I know that for the SUD applicants they have started sending COI emails to RNs as well, I work with a nurse that got hers a little over a week ago and she applied for the SUD LRP program.

Hoping that they start sending out more of the COI emails for the regular NHSC LRP soon, I hate waiting LOL

I am RN BSN who applied for the regular NHSC LRP.  This was my first credit check.  I am less hopeful as time goes on.  I know I read they allocated more money this year to the program so still have some hope.  Usually denials go out in September.  So keeping my fingers crossed until then!  Good luck to you all!

Hello!

Long time lurker first time responding. This is my first time applying. I'm a Med-Surg Tele RN. HPSA score is 15 in primary. Got the alert of the credit check in March and application is still Under Review.March 30th two months after I submitted my application according to the HRSA site my facility is in the process of withdrawing. Does anyone know of RN's who got the COI whose facility is in the process of withdrawing the HRSA?

Specializes in Telemetry, Ambulatory Care, and Emergency Medicine.

My application is still under review; I haven't heard of anyone at my job obtaining the reward yet. So...we'll see.

Same…and I wish the boards could stay separated. Having two different programs throughout really makes it hard to investigate, and adds to the anxiety LOL. I hope everyone had their opportunity. These options are life changing I’m sure.

Specializes in FNP.

Still waiting and checking weekly, wondering if the delay weighs more towards denials since June is approaching quickly. Fingers crossed that we can get some good news soon.

Yes, I am starting to think the delay is going to be a denial as well.  I was very excited as this was my first actual credit check from them.  Still hoping but what can you do.  I had hoped the delay was waiting on Biden's final word about what he was going to do after August but I thinking its a no go.

Specializes in NICU.

I started this group specifically for the NC LRP, not the NHSC, to separate the posts. But guess that didn't work.

NP for NCLRP program received finalist notification today. First time applicant

Credit check was March 19th.

Score 18

DTI 180% (?)
