How to study with 5 month old baby???

Published

Can anyone please give me some suggestions on how to study with my 5 month old. I know there are tons of people that have babies/ kids and have passed, so may I please have some advice. I have failed my boards 5 times and I need to study "hard core", but I find myself putting it off thinking 'I can't do this with my baby, who never naps'. I know I can't use that as an excuse anymore!! May I please have some suggestions?

Please take a look at the first top of my program that is posted in the NCLEX Discussion Forum..............I am willing to help you, but you need to do things my way. And it will only take you a couple of hours per day to get ready. Doing it "hardcore" is not the way to do it, as you have found out already.

I am a terrible procrastinator. I finally would just decide to do twenty-five questions on the computer and tell myself it was better than nothing. They usually took 10-15 minutes. Once I would get started, I would wind up doing more. It was just a matter of making myself sit and do it. One hundred questions on the computer winds up taking 30-45 minutes. I would do that anytime I had a few minutes to spare and it wound up adding up before I knew it.

Look into Suzanne's posts too. I think most (if not all) people who use her methods wind up passing. Good luck!

I used Saunders and Kaplan, it was well worth it.

Thank you all for your feedback! I'm going to the store right now to buy the Saunders book and get started!!!!!:wink2:
