How much do YOU make as a new CNM and what state?

Just starting a CNM program in a few week...was curious about the starting salaries for real people...not just websites you can look up average salaries.

I know $$$ is not everything, but let's be real...it counts for a lot, considering all of the hard work you put into studying. :banghead:

Could you pls tell me your starting salary and your state. Thanks!

Good luck with getting this info. I don't think we get a lot of practicing midwives who post. It's mostly those of us who are thinking about the career or are currently in school.

Epiphany posted that she sees ads for approximately 70 to 90k in the Philly area. I think that's kind of low, but the benefits might be good.
