How much are you guys willing to splurge on your degree? Just shopping around some Universities, I spotted a private school wanting 60K for an absn. *Yawsers!* If I had to put a price tag on my (priceless) education it would be 40K for a BSN. How much would you pay?

17,000 for the 2 years of upper level BSN courses.
08,820 for 2 years of community college.
04,000 for 4 years of books.
01,000 for 4 years of supplies.
30,820 for a BSN (lets hope I get some scholarships to drop this number a bit)

I have decided to get my bachelors degree at Miami Dade College (Dade counties "community college" although they offer bachelors degrees now)...seeing as though I get into the program. About all of my education for my prerequisites has been covered and will be covered with my college pell grant. I am figuring I will probably have to spend $2-3000 on random things such as food and uniforms etc... although I might be giving up a bit on having the expensive fancy equipment Miami-Dade cant afford I will come out 100% debt free.
Of course to each their own but in my opinion stay debt free! or accumulate as little as possible. An RN is an RN, your work ethic and professionalism speak for you not where you graduated from.
