How Long does it usually take to get hired for a new Job in a Nursing Home

Hello fellow Nurses

I have one year experience working in a Nursing Home and I have sent in my resignation letter because their hours are not working for me. I am looking now to apply at a Nursing Home and I was wondering how long it usually takes at an average for an LPN to find a new job based on the economy of today?. How long did you wait for yours?

it took me three months to finally get a job.... good luck!

I applied at a place got a interview with in a week, hiring process took 3 weeks for ALF, I also had a interview today at LTC and got the job offer on the spot start there next week. Gonna be working two jobs. I guess It just depends on where your applying, and how soon they are needing help.

In my area, fairly quickly. I never had trouble getting hired in a nursing home, even when I had no experience. Usually less than 3 weeks. It also depends on the facility and the turnover rate.
