How long it takes to get the CGFNS ID?

Hi,

how long it usually takes for CGFNS to send out the CGFNS ID number after having received the Visascreen application (online) and the credit card payment (online too)? In the "Correspondence" tab on the CGFNS online system there's a "Welcome - initial certificate - visascreen", but it's not mailed yet. They received my application about a week ago, and the application and payments are shown as "received and accepted".

I currently only have the CGFNS order number, and I'm wondering whether it's wise to mail photocopies of licenses and requests for transcripts and local license verifications until I have the CGFNS ID number?

hi there, when i applied the computer had said that my welcome note and my id number had been sent with in a week of receiving my vs application. however cause i dont live in the usa it took about 2 weeks for me to get the actual id card.

if you applied it online immidiatle youll have your cgfns id, its eithr you will be emailed authimatically of try to go to the print documents you can see you cgfns id there

I applied online, but I didn't even receive any confirmation emails. I can see my order under "Order Status" tab and it shows that they have received the payment, the application and the attestation.

If I press the "Print Documents" button and open the documents, they only show CGFNS order number, but not the CGFNS ID number. The ID number field in all printable documents is blank.

did you check the email add you provided to them. its very imposible in that case. they authomatically email you confirming your order.

Yes I did, no emails were received from CGFNS at any time. I even contacted them twice thru the online system, but have received no replies whatsoever so far. My Personal Information shows that they are supposed to send correspondence by both email and conventional mail.

I doublechecked that the email address on the "Personal Information" page is correct. And checked my gmail.com spam folder but there were no emails from CGFNS.

Either they have their hands full with too many applications or there's something seriously wrong with their online application system.

check your cgfns account. go to the test link. there is your cgfns id.

Well the "Tests" link on my cgfns account is related to the English proficiency test information, doesn't have the CGFNS ID or anything related to it.

the ID number is usually shown on the upper right corner of the test link page or the personal information link page.

It's not there! There's nothing on the upper right corner of the test link page or the personal information link page! There's no CGFNS ID for me anywhere in the online status system.

I guess they haven't yet given me the CGFNS ID. It's been about 2 weeks already since I submitted the online application and it was accepted. But shouldn't I have gotten the ID right after submitting the application?

i also didnt recieved any cgfns id either through mail/ email... i just saw it on the test link upper right corner when im browsing my cgfns account...if you still cant see it, better contact them.. u will have a cgfns id immediately after u submit any documents to them..
