How long for NCLEX results in VA?

Hello Christiangirl

I've been surfing this site for the past three years and haven't posted anything, however I've been determined to join so I did just that.. I took the NCLEXRN for the second time on Wednesday and still nothing on the BON website. VA is usually posted within 48 hours. I know that if the candidate tested on Wed then by Friday it is usually posted. I checked the site earlier this morning around 5am, and didn't see my name "I know!!! I couldn't sleep" :madface: I'm going crazy over here :o

I am in woodbridge VA, freaking out cause i have sooo much studying to do! so after 48 hours you basically failed or is it like 48hr-2 weeks or does anyone know? Thank you guys for always responding so promptly.

Usually within 48hrs the results are posted on the website. This excludes Saturday's though. For example if you took the NCLEX on Tuesday, by Thursday AM, VA BON will post your license info on their license look up site. If you took it on a Wednesday then by Friday morning if it's not there, then something is up. If the test is taken on a Thursday, they do not update the site on Saturday, so by Sunday morning around 5am, it will be listed.

In some cases, You can also email the board of Nursing with your name and social or you can give them a call and they will let you know if you passed or failed. On that note, I found out that I failed for the 2nd time. I don't know what is going on and what I am doing wrong. Graduated with a 3.8, but have test anxiety and don't do well on Standardized tests. I need all the advice and all the studying strategies in addition to what we already know, PLEASE HELP!!!!

You will do well.....Know your strategies, study ALL lab values, study a little bit of everything, because with NCLEX you just don't know what is going to pop up. I had a lot of priority questions, correct statement/teaching? who would you see first, who would you delegate to? ton load of Pharmacology, Had two calculations IV and IM, and six SATA. Computer took me for a joy ride to around 185-189, think it shut off around 189 :angryfire Will await the Performance Report to see where I went wrong. The first time I was above passing for most and Near passing for two. This time I would like to know where I went wrong :idea:
