I started studying these topics, but find that I am extremely weak on them because my school did not focus on them much. My school has a very high passing rate for the NCLEX, which makes me think that I should not waste too much time on these two areas.....is this an accurate assessment? I honestly don't know how much I can learn and *retain* from these areas in the next few weeks before the exam, since I don't feel like I'm *reviewing* the Eye/Ear so much as learning it from scratch!

I didn't have any questions pertaining to those areas, but you never know.

Any body system is fair game. Since there's no way of knowing what question you'll get on nclex, you need to be prepared. And to say that your school didn't focus on it much, and you shouldn't waste time on it is an inaccurate assessment IMO. The questions could be about glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, retinal detachment, otitis media, Meniere's, cochlear implants, anatomy of the ear...study hard and good luck.
