How do I study best for boards?

Last week I took the NCLEX for the first time and found out two days later that I did not pass. Now that I have to take it again, I feel like I don't know where to begin. There are so many NCLEX books, KAPLAN and other means that promise NCLEX success. I am not sure which route to take. I prepared last time by answering around 3000 NCLEX questions in the three weeks after graduating from nursing school in July. This plan did not work for me. Does anyone have a promising plan that will help me pass? I will try anything and work as hard as I have to in order to pass boards this time. Thanks guys!

Sorry to hear you failed. There are many threads offering support with hints and tips but a lot depends on your study style. Many have passed with Suzanne's plan regardless on whether it is the first time they have sat it or as a repeat. Others prefer Kaplan or NCSBN learningext whilst others devised their own study plan. Have a good read whilst you are making your choice and good luck

Sorry to hear you did not pass this time. Consider Suzanne's Plan. I would also recommend reading through the Random Facts Thread also.

:flwrhrts:Good Luck!!!:flwrhrts:

Sorry to hear that you failed maybe you could find out what areas are you were weak in and work on them and maybe you need to review content before reattempting. I am using Kaplan right now and you still have to put the work into it. So no matter what the promises are ou there majority of the time you stil have to put out the work best of luck.
