How goes it guys? Like many nursing students on here, I've been a lurker on this site, since I dunno when. I graduated Dec 2013, took NCLEX last week, and found out I passed last night (my name and license # on Breeze). I looked at everyone's NCLEX tips numerous times and bought almost every major NCLEX reviewer book (didn't even open most of them because of intimidation). I have taken and passed the NCLEX-PN before in 2009, so I had a general idea of what the test was going to be like. The majority of my peers told me that Kaplan was the way to go, but the program was a bit pricey for me. I did get the free e-book for good content review, which I just scanned over. I also purchased the Strategies book, which had helpful tips for breaking down questions. The questions in the book and the cd were also great. The review program that was affordable and worked for me was the NCSBN NCLEX review (50 bucks for 3 weeks). I really liked the content review and the question banks. I pretty much went over all the content review and did the all the qbanks at least 3 times, and scored 100 %. That way, I could reinforce all the information in my head. As reported by many people, La Charity's Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment book is very helpful, and it was for me too. For those of you who are about to take NCLEX, I hope this was helpful, be brave (just set that date and take it!)and I wish you, good luck!! =^.^=
