How far back does a background check go for license endorsement

I am going to apply for endorsement in a compact state, but was curious how far back the background check goes. I tried to find the answer online, but all I found was that I have to submit fingerprints. I don't want to put an old dui from 11 years ago on there (before I was a nurse) unless it is absolutely necessary. Does anyone know? I know for some jobs it's 7 years, but I've also heard 10. I read one site that said fingerprints go all the way back. Just trying to ease my mind that this won't be an issue when I move!

Usually, the BON asks if you have EVER been convicted, plead guilty etc..

You need to answer exactly as asked or you may run into problems if the BON finds out something that you failed to disclose on your application. As this occurred before your nursing career started they may have mercy on you. Just make sure that you have all your supporting documents ready should the Board request them.
