How early can you apply to the nursing program.

Published

Hello everyone, I am completeing my classes for the nursing program I have Micro & Chemistry left.:banghead: I notice some post on here where others are applying for terms next year. I was wondering how that works since I wont be done with the two classes til next year Summer, would it be best to apply for the fall term 2010, what happens when they recieved your application so early in advance without all the required classes completed, do they sit it in a pile or respond? do they even allow you to apply that early i was just wondering b/c i see alot of students apply just to find out they have to wait a year and blah blah blah waiting list i was just wondering if i can get the waiting part out the way lol:wink2:. any advice is helpful thanks:typing

I think it will depend on the school. At my school, you can only apply for the very next term, and your application does not "roll over" for the following term.

For example, until Oct 1 (I think) my school is taking applications for the spring term (starting Jan 2010). I can apply for the spring term now, or I have to wait until later to apply for the summer term (which is what I'm planning on doing).

Hope that helps.

ok that makes sense, I didnt think it rolled over because i was sure they would love to collect another application fee lol.

Certainly haven't met a school yet that will miss an opportunity to collect another application fee! :D

What application fee? I go to all Open Houses where they waive application fees. :D

I applied to three schools already and I haven't even started pre reqs. And, most of the schools I spoke to said they will accept apps before you finish so send those apps out ASAP.
