I have never been to a CNE class before and was just wondering if I should wear scrubs or business casual? It is the End of Life Education Consortium, if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

I would say business casual...you never know who you might network with.....if you are going right after work....scrubs would be fine.
Thanks. That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be overdressed if I showed up in a blouse and slacks. I'm a student, so not coming from work. :)
You will see people not dressed properly....but remember you can use every opportunity to net work you never know who you might meet and possibly get job opportunity

Unless you are at the hospital and you will be going from your floor, no scrubs. Our CNS group puts on a few great conferences each year that we can either attend the whole thing or pick and choose. If you are going the whole day, business casual is fine ( khakis or nice slacks, etc, no jeans) if you are working and popping in and out if sessions before or after work, scrubs are fine.
I was the most dressed up in slacks and heels, but there's nothing wrong with that.
No there isn't...and believe me they noticed. I think if you are going to a professional educational meeting you should be professional.

if the CNE is offered within my facility during work hours, then scrubs is what I will be wearing. Otherwise, I dress business casual.
