I interviewed today for a dialysis tech position an hour away from home. While the interview went well, the facility manager expressed concerns about the distance I would be commuting especially with the winter season coming up. I explained that I had driven further in the past for non-essential jobs, but not sure he was satisified. I'm continuing my search, but will have to commute no matter where I apply. How do I make the distance not an issue?

Dialysis is a very time driven industry. If someone is late for work it really throws the clinic into chaos so I think the concerns are valid. Probably nothing you can say.
