Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

they don't have specific dates but they opened last month, they closed up pretty quick too. u just gotta check all the time cause they open up every month I think

Has anyone heard back from Methodist? I emailed the hiring recruiter from Methodist about doing a virtual interview since I do not live in Texas and never heard anything back.. And has anyone heard from St Luke's yet???

got an email from harris health (lbj/ben taub) that I was not selected to go forward at 1:30 pm. kind of bogus since I literally applied the day the application came out. I even selected I'm willing to interview for medsurg. the only thing I think held me back was my ADN :/ not fair

I haven't heard anything from the baytown location and I applied the first day they opened :/ I guess they made their selections

For those who have been called from tch for an interview, have they sent y'all an email yet with all the details?

So far I have had 3 interviews with Houston Methodist. 2 for TMC and 1 for Sugar Land. 

I have an interview next week for Memorial Hermann in Katy.

All have been for med surg-adjacent units. 

I have not hear back from St. Lukes, Harris Health or MD Anderson yet.

I only got an interview with Texas children and the recruiter sent me the email for the interview the same day 

I wasn't selected for my 1st choice with memorial herman And haven't heard back from my second choice 

I wasn't selected for Houston methodist

I haven't heard back from Harris health 

I haven't heard from st Luke's yet and 

I haven't applied to MD Anderson yet

Did you interview at Methodist hire event or separate? I haven't heard from them
