Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

I went to my interview today and they sit you down in a room giving you a brief overview of the new grad residency. then I was taken to a room to be interviewed by the educator and manager of the unit. it was 20 mins long and I was able to ask questions. I asked them when are we likely to hear back and the manager said she didn't know, most likely a week because the recruiter/HR takes care of that. does anyone know how long memorial hermann takes to send an offer or nah haha?? 

I was told decision would be made by Friday, possibly Monday. Not sure if it varies by unit though. Mine was for TMC

ahhh thank you for your input. I was stalking old threads and people said they got offers within 2 days

Yes three of my friends received offers two days after interviewing last cohort. But their units were mother-baby, general peds, and another for adult heart failure ICU.

just got an email from MH. It's for my 2nd choice and a zoom meeting schedule. but I didn't get any email for my 1st choice LOL. anyone else?
