has ANYONE heard from HCA at all LOL I have to go out of town tomorrow to Sunday and I’m worried they are going to call (whether an offer or rejection) at a time I’m not available ?

I’m sure they’ll leave a voicemail if you don’t get to pick up! I always missed their calls when they contacted me for interviews and they always left a voicemail for me to call back when I’m free.

Are the offers gonna be through phone call or email?

I heard that it offers were going o be through email and that if you interviewed for more than one location that you would see if you got offers for each one all at once (in one email).

Did anyone interview with memorial hermann the woodlands fall cohort yesterday? If so, have yall heard anything about offers yet?

Hey, I interviewed with them yesterday! I have not heard anything back though yet. What about you? Also what floor did you interview for?

I talked to a recruiter this AM, the new application opened for late Summer/early fall is the same cohort we all just interviewed for. So if you applied and interviewed already there’s no need to apply again!

She didn’t have updates on when we’d receive offers because some hospitals still have to determine how many new grads they can take for each unit..

I interviewed for med surg, specifically the observation unit!

What are your thoughts on night shift vs. day shift?

I interviewed for MH TW yesterday. I thought the interview went very well until the panel asked if I preferred days or nights. I said that I preferred days, but was a team player and certainly willing to cover night shift occasionally if needed. The interview continued another few minutes until we were wrapping up. They asked if I had any more questions, and so I asked what specifically they wanted in a new graduate and what would set me apart. One of the panel members stated that they wanted flexibility. And then another panel member jumped in and said that flexibility and the ability to work nights was important right now.

I stated that I understood and was certainly a team player. And that while days was my preference, I was prepared to work whatever shift asked of me during this health crisis. Then the panel member who had just highlighted the importance of flexibility and ability to work nights stated that there was a long list of current employees who were on nights who wanted to be on days.... so of course they would all be prioritized.

So we wrapped things up and got off the interview and I cried for a hot sec. Am I delusional for thinking I can get a day job? I'm starting to think so. ? I know it's not their problem, but I have young kids at home. I guess I had thought that the night shift differential would mean that there were a few day slots available. I would totally be willing to take a pay cut to get the day shift. Not feeling very optimistic. ?

Ugh this is so annoying. I’m just wondering why did they even interview us if they didn’t have it together. I get that there’s a pandemic but how is it that other hospitals have it together but they don’t??

Has ANYONE heard from HCA LOL I have to go out of town this weekend and have a feeling they are going to call at a time im not available

I was on nights for clinicals this last semester and at first it was tough to get use to, but I really enjoyed it! Personally I like days a lot, but I really liked nights too. Once you get adjusted to them they aren't as bad!

I just had my interview with MH Katy for mother-baby, they mostly asked personality questions and "give me a time when..." type questions. The ladies were super nice and gave feedback, so good luck to anyone interviewing this week!

is anyone doing on boarding for Houston methodist? I have a couple of questions

Has anyone heard back from Memorial Hermann TMC that had an interview yesterday? A friend of mine heard back this morning with an offer, but I was curious if it was just her unit or not.

Rooting for us, guys!! Hopefully it works out for us all
