Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I’m thinking that’s why I haven’t heard anything back. Seems like Ben Taub is only contacting people

The email I received about the last day being today came from the heights location. So I think all locations are on the same schedule.

Ahhh me too! I’m starting to get extra nervous because I haven’t received a call from TCH or Harris health.

Girl at this point I'm lifeless!! I don't think these programs understand the emotional and mental rollercoaster we are on right now.

OMG I know. I applied to TCH March 8th and have heard nothing ? same for all other hospitals

No, I haven’t heard back from either and they were my top choices for both. Only place I heard back from was Methodist sugar land

I received an email from HM willowbrook for in person interview with MED SURG and mother baby. There’s hope you guys!!

Mine said in person too but then also said phone interview so which one is it LOL I’ll post a pic

No, I had a prescreen a few weeks ago and the was invited for this interview after my pre screen

Oh OK. I haven’t heard back since the prescreen. Guess I didn’t get it ?

Don’t lose hope ? what unit did you pre screen for? Was it at willowbrook?
