Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I just submitted my application to Houston Methodist!

Let me know if anybody hears anything back from Houston Methodist!! Which location/unit did everyone apply to?!

I applied for the ICU in the west hospital and sugar land. I absolutely love critical care.

I applied last week too! I’m nervous that they won’t see our applications since it technically “opened” today LOL

Yes! Memorial Hermann opens the 14th, I believe that is the next one to open

I put TMC ER, TMC IMU, then Sugarland ER, Sugarland ICU

I just registered for MH for Summer 2021 cohort. Did anyone receive any type of confirmation email that your info was received? Because I didn't, but I want to make sure it went through.

 

Also I saw that Harris Health's residency application is open, however on the job posting it says its for LBJ. I want Ben Taub, does anyone know if this application is ONLY for LBJ or will it be for all the hospitals?

I emailed and asked the Harris Health contact email because I want Ben Taub too- I will let you know what they say!
