Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

This is info from MH 

If selected to interview for our first round Virtual Match Days (scheduled for the week of March 22nd), you will hear from a recruiter no later than end of day, Friday, March 19th.

If not selected to interview for Virtual Match Day, you will receive a declination email, and will immediately begin to be considered for your second choice campus.

Each campus will be different, but there may be a possibility you will interview for your second choice location during our first set of Virtual Match Days.

Second round match days will vary by campus, but an estimated date to hear from a recruiter for our second round match days is the weeks of March 15th and March 22nd.

If your second choice campus is not hosting another match day, you will receive a declination email stating the position has been filled.

If you are not selected to interview or receive an offer for your first and/or second choice, we encourage you to continue looking on our job board, as some campuses that do not fill their positions will post individually, during the months of April and June!

So I guess it’s safe to say that nobody heard from CMHH NICU? My nerves are getting the best of me, what’s going on ?

I just got a call from Texas Children's asking about the location and unit of preference and said they will be calling regarding interviews next week, just thought it would help out to mention that here.
