Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2021

I wanted to start a thread since Memorial Hermann is having their Pre Match Open House.   Was anyone able to attend The Woodland's zoom?   I missed it and was wondering which units would be hiring?

I received the invite for TMC about 20 minutes ago and there weren't any virtual slots left ?

when you received an invite for TMC, where did you see in the email the unit you are being interviewed for? I can’t seem to find it anywhere and there is no Job ID in the email I received

I'm nervous as well! I'm curious because they said to schedule interviews an hour apart from each other, but the interviews are only scheduled for 15 mins.. 

 

also, what locations are you interviewing for? I'm interviewing for Willowbrook and TMC ?

Oh yay! My interviews are at 11, 12, and 1 tomorrow, so if yours are after I can definitely let you know how it went! 

Also, when you got the TMC signup, did it tell you what unit/job ID? My email is missing that info so I literally have no idea what I'm interviewing for LOL

Mine is 12:30-1PM? I just have ICUwillowbrook and TMC (I’m assuming IMU). I had to email the nurse residency email and she just sent me a WebEx link. Not sure what to expect at all. I have class from 8-12 and 1-5 PM sadly so IDK if I will be dressing professionally

I have ICU willowbrook too!! And girl I've had my share of online interviews definitely just wear sweatpants and a nice top, I didn't even bother putting makeup on LOL. One piece of advice I have for you is that make sure your internet is working well!! I suggest connecting your computer to an ethernet cable so you can maximize your internet connection

OMG y’all!! I love Houston Methodist. the interviews went so well, everyone there is super personable ? This is the first time I’ve had hope for an offer these past few months!

Avoid HCA! Patient ratios are high and they don’t believe in techs. And their managers & case managers walk around all day wearing long white coats. Isn’t that impersonating a doctor??
