I have a teacher not happy with our department (and me since I am the face of our department in this building). PreK student vomited on the bus yesterday at 745am. Student's mom dropped her off at school this morning at 8am. It's been 24 hours, which is our guideline. Teacher and classroom aide are not pleased. Wash your hands and move on! Dec 12, 2018 by OldDude I can tell you their displeasure isn't a result of their deep seeded concern for the health of "the children." Our Pre K classes are at school for 3 hours; 2 morning and 2 afternoon classes. I seldom require a child who I send home for XYZ illness to stay out the next day and I get the same push back from our teachers and aide. Geez, it's practically 24 hours before their next class is scheduled anyway - get over yourself!
