Hospitals in South Florida

Published

Good afternoon, just wanted some input on which branch of hospitals in south Florida are the better option to work as a Registered Nurse transitioning from long term care to acute care also in terms of (Pay, benefits, and overall work atmosphere)

HCA, Memorial or Broward Health ?

Specializes in Trauma ICU.

Commenting to be notified of this as well!! I asked a similar question, did not get much feedback. All I can tell you is you can throw HCA out of that mix. Memorial, Baptist, Non profit hospitals in general will be better.

I spent 6 months as a traveler at Lee Health in Fort Myers. Absolutely amazing! The staff was great, administration was so receptive. The set up on the floors was a charting area on each hallway, with a nutrition room, supply room AND a med room. There was literally no reason to be at the nurses station up front unless you had a problem. I give them a 10/10
