Hi all, Does anyone have experience in an ASC after the hospital? I have been in the OR at a busy trauma hospital for 2 years, and dual time with the CVOR for the past year. Being on the heart team especially makes me feel married to the hospital. So, I am seeking a change. I’m being offered an RN position that does pre/intra/post op care at an ASC associated with the well known clinic in the city. They are excited about hiring me for this particular position because I am already an experienced circulator with scrub experience (the “hardest” aspects to train they mentioned of course). I will be living outside of call limits very soon, so this sounds good on paper, but I don’t know anyone that can help me with the pros/cons. Any input is appreciated!
