1. I have worked hospital (years back), and home health and I am now just starting a new job, in hospice. My plan was to do travel nursing in a few years though. Does anyone know, if hospice nurses can do travel nursing? Is there any agency that places them? I know many times travel nursing is just for hospital nurses. Thanks!

Hi! I don't think hospices use contract nurses much...I know they have pretty strict regs. from medicare on when they can use them, they have to proove they couldn't hire a permanent nurse etc... Maybe someone else will have better info. for you.

Actually there are a few hospice assignments I have heard about. Mostly in California. Would you be open to going there?
