Hi everyone! Working on a term paper for end-of-life palliative care/cultural diversity. I have all kinds of info peer-reviewed from my school's university library. It sounds like it's easy, but I'm having trouble getting started, thought maybe I could go with how pain issues and end-of-life have been addressed for the last century, how nurses have to be culturally diversed with pts., and maybe rituals/customs for bereavement. Please throw some ideas my way, I would greatly appreciate them!

You might like to check into the history of hospice.
Palliative care is different from hospice, but the two are intimately related.
You might also like to look at palliation methods related to specific diagnoses. Cancer comes to mind.
Sounds like a cool subject!

Check out anything pain related from author Margo McCaffery...she is known to be the expert at pain management at end-of-life. Also, a really good symptom control primer is by Peter Kay....for the life of me I can't remember the name of the book. Do a lit search under author Peter Kay...I'm sure you'll find something with that!:typing
