Dating a patient:

Is it okay for a nurse to date her patient for 8 years? It is not a hospital work setting but home care/ community work setting.

No. Absolutely not. Not ever..

Probably even worst in the community imo. They are in such a vulnerable state, and probably don't see that many people and feel somewhat isolated. Where as in the hospital they are generally there for a short time and when discharge are pretty capable, and ofcourse are surrounded by health professionals that are looking out for them.

Nope, not at all. I have heard of a nurse marrying their patient's son, but even then.. I don't think that's right either.
