I recently applied to Holy Family's second degree accelerated BSN program. Any applicants hear anything yet? I was denied for Fall a bit ago but I hadn't met the minimum completed pre-requisites at the time, so even though I'm currently in the last pre-requisite and will be finished August 10, I'm naturally nervous about getting denied again. I'm going really well in my pre-requisites and REALLY want to go to Holy Family because of all the awesome things I keep hearing about this program. I just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else that applied heard anything. Would love any input. Thanks!

Hey Kelly! How many/which pre reqs did you still have pending? I am pending AP2 and Micro but all of my other stats are pretty good. So nervous but I really want to be accepted! Any info helps!!!!
Hey! I actually was accepted for the Spring start, so I'm in my sixth week now. I only had one pre-req left at the time they were making decisions, they just require you have at least 3 pre-requisites finished before applying. Good luck to you!
Awesome thank you! Do you use Ipad pros in your program or require a certain technology?
Hey Tierra, we don't specifically have to use anything. You just need something with Internet access, basically, as much of our course information and assignments are on Canvas, which is an online portal. I saw in the other thread you were accepted, congrats!

i got rejected for the fall of 2018 im not sure if its because i had a pending nutrition class...its prolly my 3.0 gpa...but i have really great pre-req grades....im really sad...as i would love to attend this program..i will try again for spring...but feeling so discourage
Don't feel discouraged! I was denied for last fall as well and got in for this Spring. Sometimes it's just about how many spots are open and it can be competitive. Just keep in touch with the school and let it be known how much you want to go there and how passionate you are about nursing. If you apply again, you're only bettering your chances! I actually asked Don why I was denied and he said my GPA was too low and I needed to finish more pre-reqs, and how I needed to pull my GPA up in order to be considered. I did all of that and was accepted for the following cohort. You can ask why you were rejected since you meet the minimum requirements.

Hi I am curious how you have heard back already for the Fall 2018 cohort? I was told they will not be making any decisions until after the 3/31 deadline and generally within a month everyone will hear back. I was not expecting to hear anything before mid-April at the earliest for Fall 2018 acceptance.
Thanks for any info!
I also agree with Kelly, don't feel discouraged. I've had a few friends go through this program and as it is so competitive, a lot of people have to apply more than once. They also said if you don't get in one cohort you have a better change to get in the next. Best of luck to you.
i applied to early deadline, so thats prolly why. they apparently sent my notice on 3/8. thank you for your encouragement
