Did anyone get a phase 1 interview recently (post 10/10 application submission)? Also did anyone who received an interview in the 1st round have a subpar casper score?

Hi,

wondering if anyone can help me out with a couple questions?

I see their deadline is feb 1st but theyre giving interviews prior to the deadline, is there a percentage they accept before the deadline and after the deadline?

the two interviews people are receiving, is the first one clinical and second one emotional intelligence or are they both clinical? 
 

lastly, are they very strict on the two year ICU experience? I would not have the two years by the deadline but would have it prior to starting the program

Hofstra is rolling admissions so the earlier you apply, the better. They might fill their seats before the deadline, but it's not certain. Not sure how many they accept before the deadline- it depends on how many seats are filled based on number of accepted applicants.

Phase 1 is EI (virtual) and Phase 2 is supposedly clinical (in person).

During their information session, they said they are strict on 2 year ICU experience, but just give it a try!

I actually applied late in the cycle last year (mid January) and got phase 1 interviews only and was told to reapply this year as they had already filled all their spots, so I would recommend applying as early as possible! First interview is all EI, I haven't attended my 2nd one yet but was told it would be critical care questions and scenarios.

October 8! didn't hear back about second interviews until 10/31
