Any advice on the history elective for the Chamberlain online RN-BSN program?
I'm trying to decide on which to take. The person I spoke with suggested the HUMN-415: Vietnam and 20th-Century Experience due to having around 6 smaller papers rather than one large paper at the end.
I'm starting July 8th and will need to brush up on APA before I start. I've been out of school for 10 years now since my ADN program.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)

Have you considered the CLEP history exam? I tools its classroom counterpart: History 2111. I don't know if the CLEP includes 2112 and 2112. But it is history of the United States. Chamberlain accepted the course I took in transfer.
Hmmm, I will have to ask them about that. Thanks :)

If you can take Analyzing and interpreting literature. It is six credits!!! If you like to read it is pretty easy, just need to study the terminology. I took mine before enrolling but it is worth checking. Will save you lots of time and $$$

I am currently taking Vietnam and 20th Century Experience. I am enjoying it and it's not too bad as long as you keep up with the discussions and do your homework. I prefer the smaller papers versus writing one big paper. Smaller papers give you multiple chances at getting a good grade versus one grade (either good or bad). It's 4 credit and is time consuming but very doable. Next week is our final week and so far I have a 97%. Good Luck!
That's good to hear... That's the one I chose. Sounds like you are doing great. :-) I'm studying for the math placement test this weekend. Fingers crosses!
Thanks for the feedback :-)
