Would one be considered unfavorable over other CNA/RN competition if the employing staff sees an episode of one performing criminal acts? Or otherwise considered taboo behavior for the medical field. Really want some info on this. I am from Northern California. Or is it only if one commits a crime? So is it okay to pretend during private life or is acting like a "bad" guy detrimental to hiring?

I'm so confused, but I'm thinking "pot-head" for some reason.

I have never had a job that didn't begin orientation with, "even when you leave our premises, you represent us." I'm not sure how this is even a question. Most organizations, accrediting bodies, and licensing bodies require a criminal background check. That right there should be your clue. A healthcare worker should never knowingly, intentionally break the law. And if you behave in an unprofessional way within proximity of coworkers (especially the "employing staff") or in public, then I think it is quite obvious that they will not favor you over your competition. If they are going to witness you engaging in "taboo behavior for the medical field", they are going to ask themselves how you will be able to give health promotion education without being a hypocrite. No, it might not damage your ability to get employed, but chances are, your first impression will be damaged by this.
What are you pretending during private life? And what do you mean about being a bad guy being detrimental to hiring?
Well it's a community type project really. At first it started as me and my friend talking about us being actors and other cocky characters we know we will be later. Now we have many "many" stacks, mansion, bikes and many other cool people who want to be part of it. We got a script. Me and my friends are the two big drug dealers characters from a foreign country. It's a form of escapism and in my opinion a fantasy that changes the blaze ways of our former community.

In the other thread you started today, you implied you have a criminal record. You have a lot of bizarre stuff going on and I think you need to contact your BON to determine whether this is an issue or not. I'm going to say this in the most polite way I know how - what you describe above makes NO sense, and if you think pretending to live the thug life (for lack of a better way of describing it) is a "fantasy", you really need to stop and reevaluate some things. If I were the HR department and I knew about this, I would avoid hiring you like the plague. You may want to consider stopping this behavior before you get in actual trouble by someone you offend.

I'm not sure what kind of role playing game you are involved in, or whatever it is that you are describing. I'm going to assume that this thread is not research for your game script and just give you a couple of facts. Warning: you may not want to hear this.
Nurses, like anyone else in the field of health care, are held to a higher standard. We work around people who are vulnerable, even if just for a short time. We work around expensive equipment and powerful drugs. We have access to highly sensitive, private information about people. That is why nurses are required to be honest and responsible, with sound judgement and personal maturity.
There is a background check before getting licensed or hired as a nurse, and that includes checks for criminality. Felony convictions are usually disqualifying in the first instance, but there is sometimes a process that can be undertaken to remedy that situation. You would have to check with the Board of Nursing (BON) to find out about it.
The kind of game you describe seems to be pretty much all consuming, and I wonder if you would truly be able to shake your bad guy persona while working. Another consideration is that nursing school is really hard and requires a lot of study. You will have to decide whether your game being a nurse is more important to you.
Finally, I would not hire someone who was acting out in the way you describe because to me it indicates insufficient personal maturity.
As the previous poster suggested, you might want to stop playing this game. Aside from anything else, you are opening yourself to be the victim of crime. What would happen if some bystander thought it was all for real and decided to rob you of your money and drugs? What would happen if some gang decided you were "false claiming"?
Try to get the interest and excitement you crave in a safer way.
Awesome feedback guys. I will try to take nursing more serious. One more thing. I would like you to take sec to look at this post--this is what shaped my opinion about all this(it was a post called "stripper AND a nurse".

Perhaps right now you should focus on your acting career and script instead of nursing

This can't be serious.
If you're looking for inspiration for a script based on the feedback you're getting here, you're wasting not only your time but that of several other people.
I can't speak for everyone, but I've written this line of questioning off ENTIRELY.
He is. Right now. On these message boards. With any luck, it'll be wiped away soon....

Sounds like a homework assignment to me. If you're writing a paper, you really need to work on your clarity.
