Hillsborough Comunity College Nursing Deadlines/Prereqs

Im really nervous about the importance of the deadlines to apply for the nursing program.

I have most of my prereqs complete except Anatomy2, Mac, & Micro.

I plan on taking Anatomy 2 & Mac Summer A. Which will leave me with Micro summer B then I will be done with the prereqs. However, the June 1 2013 deadline for Spring 2014 will have passed before I complete those final courses. Do you think they will consider accepting me due to that I'm enrolled already in my last courses? I don't want to have to wait another year to be accepted. I have great grades in my prereqs so far about a 3.7 gpa. Im also a CNA I'm not sure if that well help in anyway. Im really anxious to get feedback on this. Let me know what you think. And Also do you think a Psychology course could take the place of the sociology prereq thats required? I need answers!!! thanks.

No they won't take you if you do this plan, it says so on the website. What you need to do is take Anatomy 2, Micro, and MAC1105 in Spring 2013. Yes it will be nuts with 2 science classes together but it can be done.

And no Psych won't work. If they allowed substitutions I would have given them STA2023 instead of MAC1105.

-I was a Spring 2013 HCC Applicant, (denied due to a non-GPA issue) applying again for Fall 2013.
