I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Hey Juleby,Thank you for sharing the info. If you don't mind me asking how much was your GPA when you got in..also is the care plan like you using a nursing dx and then based on that you are planning out goal and r these care plans have more grade towards the class I mean does it count as a test grade or something? how does the grading system work..Please give us an idea of that....also do u like night classes ..or if u heard other class r better...which one is??? Thanks

Hi Leroy,

i had a 4.0 going in. Depending on your professor the care plan may count towards homework points, our did others don't. C is 80-84 B is 85-91 A is 91-100. Most points are from tests, only some are from homework.

Hey all, have been off this board for a bit as I was putting together my application for SCF Fall 2014 program. Thankfully there program has a relatively quick turn around time and I will know by the 15th if I am in or not. If not I will apply for HCC's spring still. It's been rough though. My 3.42 GPA is not exactly the greatest. I mean, personally I'm happy with it. I have two children 7 and 6, the 6 year old is special needs. My husband works nights, so he doesn't get the opportunity to be as supportive as he'd like. I just want to get in a program and *start*. fingers crossed for us all.

I got my official A&PII grade B/B, still waiting on my sociology grade which should post by tomorrow it's an A.

My final grade (for A&PII ) was a 87.8 No lie lol, I was hoping he was going to bump, but I have no right to be upset because that's what I ended up with. To all those still waiting for their final grades good luck guys.

My prerequisite GPA is a 3.5 just for reference.

Ok my teacher forgot we had an exam today for microbiology! So everyonewaited around for 50 minutes untill finally someone came in after trying to reach her.... she informed us our final will be posted online, which im not complaining. .. but seriously I was up will 5am studyong and reading chapter reviews.. so an easy 100

Way to much tequila the night before lol? Ugh! I thought final grades are supposed to be posted by today?! I'm waiting for my final grade for british lit. I got A's on the 3 exams, but waiting for discussion board to be factored in. I missed a few days of it + his requirements were really vague. I'm hoping for a B. ^_^ Also just found out SCF will have their results of acceptance emailed the day AFTER the cutoff date for applications. Why can't HCC be better at getting their results out?! I mean, seriously, how hard is it to make a list!?

I understand ur frustration I hope and pray results are done fast this year... but thats great on ur grades awsome... and thats what we were saying about the teacher ahahaa... she really did the holiday dance and slept in.. ahahah
