I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
I'm in!!!! 3rd times a charm! I forgot to check the mail Wednesday and was on here yesterday biting my nails reading that the alternate letters went out. I got home and opened the mailbox to see a letter from HCC! I thought I was going to pass out from the anxiety! LOL! I'm so excited to be amongst you all! Can't wait until JANUARY! I have a friend in the LPN-RN program now so I get a bit of insight from her. She said it's madness but worth it! Congrats to all. I will be celebrating this weekend!

Congratulations!!!! Your persistence finally paid off for you. That goes to show everyone that if its meant to be it will happen, not always when we want it to happen, but it will happen. See you in 2 weeks at orientation....

Yeah I was kinda surprised we didn't get them yesterday. With Monday being a holiday, it looks like it will be next week. Boo. Oh well.
