I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
I just went out side and checked my mail and its just the standard junk, bills, bills, and ohh yea, more bills..:-)...My mailperson thinks Im nuts! She's not to far off..:-)

Well, I guess that's good in a way.. I can quit obsessing over it today and focus on my Ethics test
PS. I'm just as nuts. I'm stressing over a letter!
Lol! I don't think it will come til Friday or Saturday,but I doubt it will be later than that. Just a few more days:-0
I hope so. However, on the ride home tonight from Dale Mabry I found myself wondering if I really do want to know. I just see Murphy's Law coming into play here and it scares me somewhat.

Try not to drive yourself crazy. If its meant to be then it will happen. God has a master plan for all of us. Things always have a way of working out for the best, even if we dont realize it at the moment. Good Luck to everyone.
I figure by next week we should be getting our letters. My friend is in the class from last spring & she said around this time they received their letters so no later than next week we should know.
I agree. FX hit the nail on the head with that one, and instantly helped me to focus on the real issue at hand. I'll be honest in saying that there were times in the last three years I saw His hand in all of this -- from grades to issues that were a lot easier than they should have been. Open doors and all that..
