I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
Well it seems like we have about a week/ week and a half till we find out!! Now that it's so close I'm more anxious than I was over the summer! Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer!

Hi hallberry...I feel the same way. I will start stalking my mail box starting on Monday, but i think it will probably be Wedn or Thurs when we get the notices. Either way, we are very close. Good Luck to everyone.

I hear you, Cindy. I won't be able to check until after classes all next week and I know its going to drive me crazy! There is nothing worse than sitting in class trying to learn and thinking about something else the whole time.

oh, I was thinking we wouldn't hear until after next week. Since the prior notifications people recieved about the 15-17th. I was thinking maybe we would start hearing monday the 16th, but I would be ok if it was by end of next week.
My Hcc application still says not received :/ does anyone else still have this as not received under documents? It has me a little worried.
There were some individuals from prior years threads that had the same thing happen, Mdavidson. They still received their letters either on time or a little bit late. I think its just an instance of HCC being a little flaky again.
You can try calling the Health Science admissions number (813-253-7231) to see if they could straighten it out for you.

All of my documents shows "RECEIVED" ..so if any of yours doesn't show that, make sure to call the Admissions and records department ASAP. I am also waiting for my letter...I hope I get accepted....however, my GPA is on the low end, 3.2 something...so that worries me a lot.
