Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

Either way no one knows.so at this point everyone has a chance !! :)

Ive read that in previous fall cycles the cut off score has been as high as 3.7, I think (based on what I've read in other forms). I think this is good and bad. Bad because higher gpa cut offs have everyone on pins and needles. Good because it doesnt show and upward trend-- it fluctuates. It's just too hard to determine what it will be. I just hope we find out soon because I'm so over the wait :(

I did realize they have mostly always found out on Monday's. So it's this Monday or next. Lol

I'm in the same boat as you with the same gpa. I hoping it's not 3.6

Im right there with you guys. But I feel like if there are that many applicants then we would be lucky to get on the waiting list

Very true and plenty of students apply to other schools as well.

Please don't be discouraged! The GPA cutoff is just complete speculation based on applicant numbers. You also have to factor in the amount of people that are applying to HCC as a plan B and will give up their seat. I'm not sure that the cutoff from last spring includes alternates who were able to get in once someone else gave up their seat.

Did you take the Spanish Pre-reqs for USF? I read that they require is as part of their accelerated program.

This is my plan b, I just got notified that I got an interview for usf. I'm so nervous though because everything now is probably going to be solely off my interview. Usf is so competitive, this is so stressful omg

I always thought taking Spanish 1 and 2 in high school is sufficient to meet the foreign language requirement at USF. I hope to God that's the case because I haven't taken it í ½í¸¢

Nope í ½í¸§ I was told that taking 2 years in High School meets that requirement therefore Spanish classes in college would not be required. If anyone has info on this please let us know because I really wanted to do the concurrent program :(
