Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)
Hi there!!!So a few of us mailed in the app and others dropped the app off; I took mine to the Dale Mabry campus. No background info. submitted because it's done once you're in the program.
And just a side note- if you drop the application off you can always pay at the school/bursar- you just have to include a copy of the receipt with your app.
Good luck! :-)
Thank you! I would look completely over that!
Hello, I live in Riverview, and I am hoping for Southshore campus. My pre req GPA is 3.43, so crossing my fingers and toes that it will get me in.I am also doing my CMA certification through HCC over the summer, and will sort of collide with class starting in August. So we shall see how that works out.
I will be working through school, I work as a PRN float for Women's Care Florida, which gives me so much flexibility with class. I'm super excited and anxious. I am submitting my application this week, once I get my money order. I did have a couple of questions. I tried to scan through the posts. But I didn't see, where did everyone drop off their apps, or did you mail it in? And did you include the signed background form?
I totally missed this post, I'm sorry! On the application it should have the address to send it. I just turned in the completed copy of the application, proof of payment for application, and for my sanity, lol, I included a copy of my teas scores.
I like it OK. It's an older home and being new to the neighborhood, it sucks being new kid on the block again. I need frrriienndds lolI was on campus the other day for an exam and it was nice :)
Haha. I've been at my house almost 4 years. .. only know 2 of my neighbors, lol. You'll make plenty during nursing school, haha. They'll be your second family!
This is why I can't wait to start school... interaction with people I have something in common with. Lol.
I know very few neighbors since I moved in 4-5 years ago. We live in the same neighborhood my husband grew up in. So I'm basically the outsider. Everyone here is basically older or related to my husband somehow. It's not a bad thing I just want to get out of this house and do something fun. I used to be such a social butterfly.
The Southshore location is pretty. It's my third choice. First/second is Dale Mabry.
I have less than a handful of what I can call friends. They are mom's I met through play dates with my older son who stuck by my side through good and bad times, the other one friend through my younger son's school. Soooooooo, you see the theme? Lol. Friends ate hard to find and I'm the same way. .. quite enjoy interacting with others who have the same interests.
Dale Mabry traffic is too insane for me. I chose plant city first, then south Shore, then dale Mabry.
Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a while but follow this thread almost everyday :) I currently work at a bank full-time and will probably have to quit unless I get the evening/weekend classes. I'm prepared for that but I will have to work at least part-time somewhere else. I was interested in getting my CNA certification and maybe work with that while in the program. I was interested on what you guys planned to do about work, if you planned to work. I also live in the Riverview area, close to Apollo Beach, so South Shore would be perfect for me, and there are so many clinics around here, it would be awesome to go to school and work super close to home.
