Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

Douglas92- Congrats on the 78!!! That's awesome!!! Was it what you thought it was going to be? I'm taking mine on a the 26th.

Jmcm - I am not allowed to talk about the exam too much, but my results were very close to my practice test (five points difference to be exact). The best advice I can give is... show up to the exam!! Today seven people were scheduled, but only four of us actually showed up and the proctor said that people miss it all of the time, which is crazy to me. You will do great, don't stress over it. Have you taken a practice test yet?

I have the ati study guide for the V and have been studying it the past few weeks. I've also been using the pocket prep and teas mastery app daily. Plus YouTube and other sites. Hopefully Ill have the ati VI book sometime tomorrow (found a good deal on one). Based of the apps and the V study guide I'm scorinng 79-80%. I'm really hoping the VI is similar to the V. If not I have a week! :yes:

And wow!!! í ½í¸± I cannot believe people would pay to take the test and not show up.

I took Anatomy II/Lab online last semester. I didn't think it was too bad. I thought Anatomy I was harder (due to the physiology part) >.

Anyone taking micro online and using McGraw Hill smart lab??

OMG, I took Micro lab two semesters ago, that lab simulation is awful!!! So many times you go to pick up the pippette or click on something and screen doesn't cooperate. Are you having that issue?

UCFAshley- I'm having the same issue with the pillbugs and it's super annoying. I've been trying for a few days and still don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I remember during my semester a whole bunch of us complained to the Professor and he was very lenient with the scores ( I suppose because it was a group of us). Maybe bring it up to your professor attention and s/he can work around the technical issues.
