Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
Hey guys. I’m an NP 3 student at the Plant City campus & wanted to give you a heads up about a couple things. The book package is expensive but try to get access to the books. I only say this because this semester (when doing careplans) we were only allowed to use books that were HCC required books for our references. If you don’t have access to them it may put you at a disadvantage. Good Luck everyone!!!
i just sent in the acceptance confirmation. Got my bg results sometime last week... super excited. Is anyone looking for apartment housing in Tampa. I'm thinking about 42-north.
I'm so excited. I hope this doesn't wear off when I'm finally studying for the program. I can't wait to get my scrubs and other gear. I wonder what is on the list to prepare for the program. I know we have to be CPR certified, get name tags, scrubs, patches...
Add stethoscope & comfy shoes to that list cloneswife. There's a uniform store by my job that I'm dying to walk into but thanks to my belly it'd be moot to try anything on lol. I guess uniforms will be last on my list of to-dos this summer.
I'm torn b/w excited and anxious--anxited? excixious? Hope my water doesn't break on either of the orientation days! :smackingf

OMG, when are you due? Is this your first child? They have really cute scrubs for pregos. I like the Grey's anatomy cut because it's form fitting and not too boxy. Congrats! My husband already bought me a stethoscope for my birthday one year for motivation.
Congrats to all that got accepted, the next two years will be exciting and challenging and from everything I've hear, the HCC program is highly thought of.

Thanks, Congratulation! I have a 3.66 still haven't receive any letter
call the school and see if they sent a letter out to you yet. Your letter may have been issued and got lost or they will send it after the first wave of appeals goes through. Either way it looked like all the 3.7ish and up got in. Haven't seen anyone lower than that yet. your pa is high but i haven't seen anyone. Hopefully somebody has the same gpa as you and has gotten in. Email MF or MG!!
