Hi, I've heard that Methodist is a good hospital to work at. The pay is excellent too. Good luck.

Thinking of relocating to brooklyn so thanks for the information. If any one else has information please post. Is the area around methodist nice to live?
The area is pretty nice..expensive though. It is in Park Slope.

Where do you live now?
Maybe you should take a travel assignment and test the waters.
New York Methodist Hospital is a wonderful teaching facility. However you will work very hard for every penny they pay you. You will be a well rounded nurse when they are finished with you.
If you live close enough and have experience you might want to apply for a perdiem position at NYMH. The rate is about $44 days and $48 nights.

I just moved here Brooklyn and a lot of them told me that New York Methodist Hospital is really good.I even applied there but still no call yet. Also they told me bout Maimonides, Lutheran..I just found out in the net that there's a lot of oppurtunities in SUNY Downstate Hospital but dont have an idea if its also a good place to work at.Do you guys have any idea?Right now Im also in the process of looking for a job here in Brooklyn.
are you an rn? cause methodist only takes rn's...are u looking for money or a nice place to work? Maimonides is good haven't heard much about Lutheran. All the hospitals u mentioned are good. It depends on what u are looking for.
