Ready to get back to work where my heart is and am pretty sure EC is my only route as I have 4 small boys at home... If you want to go with EC you will need to get your license reinstated. I do not believe you will get your Navy courses accepted unless they were converted to courses on a civilian school transcript. Good luck.
Hi thanks for your response. I qualify for EC on my Navy background alone. I was just curious to see if someone could guide me with how many prereq's I still would have to knock out. Thanks again though.
An EC advisor will give you an idea over the phone and you can get a fairly quick response when you turn your transcripts in for evaluation. I wasn't aware that EC gives credit for service alone. I thought they gave credit for a license obtained based on service in a healthcare occupational specialty. Good for you if you can start the process without a license.

Yep, "military service corpsmen" qualify. It's on the Admission Policy page: https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_College/School_Of_Nursing/School_of_Nursing_Admission_Policy
